RETURN & REFUND POLICY

This Return & Refund Policy applies to purchases made through Croesthetic.

We aim to make returns and refunds as simple and transparent as possible while respecting the mandatory consumer rights applicable in Hungary and the European Union.

1. 14-Day Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer purchasing products from our online store, you generally have the legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving a reason.

For purchases of goods, the 14-day period begins on the day you, or a third party you have designated, receives the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision before the 14-day period expires.

a clear statement that you wish to withdraw from the purchase.

2. Returning the Product

After notifying us that you wish to withdraw from your purchase, you must send the product back to us without undue delay and generally within 14 days of communicating your withdrawal.

Please package the product securely so that it is not unnecessarily damaged during transportation.

Unless the product is defective or otherwise covered by a different statutory right, you are generally responsible for the direct cost of returning the product following withdrawal.

3. Condition of Returned Products

You may inspect and handle the product to the extent reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.

If the product has been handled beyond what is necessary for this purpose and its value has consequently decreased, we may be entitled to reduce the refund by the amount of that loss in value, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

This does not affect your statutory right of withdrawal.

4. Refunds

If you validly withdraw from your purchase, we will refund the payments we have received from you, including the standard delivery cost applicable to the original order.

If you selected a more expensive delivery method than the least expensive standard delivery option we offered, the additional cost may not be refunded where permitted by law.

We will issue the refund without undue delay and generally within 14 days after receiving your withdrawal notification.

However, where permitted by law, we may delay the refund until:

we have received the returned product; or
you provide evidence that you have sent the product back,

whichever occurs first.

5. Refund Method

Refunds will generally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless we expressly agree to another method.

You will not be charged a fee for receiving the refund.

6. Damaged or Missing Products

If your order arrives visibly damaged, please contact us as soon as possible and provide photographs of the packaging and product where possible.

We will investigate the issue and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable law.

7. Defective or Non-Conforming Products

The 14-day withdrawal right is separate from your statutory rights concerning defective or non-conforming products.

If a product is defective, damaged, or does not conform to the contract, please contact us.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may be entitled to:

repair;
replacement;
a price reduction; or
termination of the contract and a refund.

Where a return is required because the product is defective or does not conform to the contract, the applicable statutory rules concerning return costs will apply.

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes mandatory consumer rights.

8. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply in certain circumstances established by law.

Depending on the products sold by Croesthetic, exceptions may include:

products made according to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalised;
sealed products that are unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once the seal has been removed;
products that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
products that, after delivery, become inseparably mixed with other items;
certain sealed audio or video recordings or software after the seal has been opened; and
other products or services for which a statutory exception applies.

Where an exception applies to a particular product, this will be communicated to the customer before purchase where required.

9. Exchanges

We do not guarantee direct exchanges of products.

If you wish to change a product, you may return the original product where legally permitted and place a new order for the desired product.

Any statutory rights relating to defective or non-conforming products remain unaffected.

10. Sale and Discounted Products

Products purchased during sales, promotions or with discount codes may be returned under the same statutory withdrawal rights as products purchased at full price, unless a lawful exception applies.

The refund will generally correspond to the amount actually paid for the returned product.

Promotional terms may contain additional conditions provided that they do not restrict mandatory consumer rights.

11. Refunds for Cancelled Orders

If an order is cancelled before it has been dispatched, we will refund eligible payments made for the cancelled order.

If the order has already been dispatched, the applicable withdrawal and return procedure may need to be followed.

12. Failed or Uncollected Deliveries

If a customer refuses or fails to collect a delivered package, this does not automatically constitute a valid exercise of the statutory right of withdrawal.

Any applicable costs will be handled in accordance with Hungarian and EU law.

For statutory withdrawal, you are not required to provide a reason.

14. Consumer Rights

This policy does not affect any mandatory rights granted to consumers under Hungarian or European Union law.

Where any provision of this policy conflicts with a mandatory consumer-protection rule, the mandatory legal provision will prevail.
